Each resort offers downhill skiing and snowboarding for every level, from first-timers to experts. Arapahoe Basin and Copper Mountain typically open earliest in the fall and run latest into spring, some seasons into June.

Accessed from the Miners Creek trailhead off Second Avenue, this locals' favorite leads through aspen and lodgepole pine to a beaver pond, with options to continue on to Miners Creek Road or the Peaks Trail.
A 7.8-mile route connecting Frisco to Breckenridge, popular for snowshoeing and winter fat biking, with a free Summit Stage bus to shuttle back to your car.
